Steven Edwards
Pianist | Guest Conductor
Steven Edwards has served as conductor and pianist for OperaCréole since 2015. He also provided chorus preparation for our World Premiere of Edmond Dédé's Morgiane.
He is Director of the Honors Program and Professor of Music at Delgado Community College in New Orleans. He has extensive training and experience in the design, delivery, and assessment of online education, also in leadership and review of Study Abroad programs.
Edwards also serves as Music Director of Symphony Chorus of New Orleans and maintains an active schedule as guest conductor of opera and musical theatre, and as pianist in vocal recitals and instrumental chamber music
