Keturah Heard
Soprano
Keturah is the newest soprano to join the OperaCréole roster. She debuted as Zizi in our production of Les Lions de la Reconstruction. She has both an opera and musical theater background.

Her operamost recent opera roles have been Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi, Ida in Die Fledermaus, and Barbarina in Le Nozze di Figaro, with Southeastern LA Opera. We was also a featured soloist for their 75th Anniversary Gala. In Musical Theater, she was most recently seen as Chiffon in Cutting Edge Theater's Little Shop of Horrors, and Lena Horne in Bob Hope and His All-Star Pacific Tour- BBS Stage Door Canteen at the National WWII Museum, She was also in Cutting Edge Theater's Rockin' Sounds of The 60s, and Hit It! a Musical Revue at the Center For Performing Arts. She has also performed with the NOVA Chorale. Ms. Heard has appeared regularly as a soloist in Of Thee I SingL Patriotic Concert, and Christmas on the Northshore with St. Timothy's Church in Mandeville, LA.
Keturah is studying for a Masters in Music at LSU. She has a Bachelors of Music from Southeastern Louisiana University.
